The road follows a chain of lakes; Mowich, Snohoosh, Deadman and Skookum, eventually reaching the most picturesque - 3 kilometer long Vidette Lake

.At the northern tip of the lake, just past the Resort, the road abruptly rises steeply, with a sharp turn at the top, where it continues towards Deadman Falls and beyond -  eventually reaching Elbow Lake. It is close to this sharp turn where the Center of the Universe is considered to exist.

Located on private property it is only accessible by contacting the Resort’s owners Ray and Ruth, who will gladly be your host and guide. Staying overnight at the Resort’s campground is an option you should seriously consider in order to fully experience your visit.
