Hudson Bay Cottage
Secluded three bedroom log cabin tucked away in its own private bay. The cabin in equipped with fridge, stove, oven, bbq and all the serving tools for groups of up to 20. You can comfortably do a sit down meal inside this cabin for 20 persons. A perfect place to gather for the family reunion or other large groups at mealtime. There is a full bathroom, large kitchen area, dining area and living room all spacious. Also an outside deck that goes all around and a boat tie up right there.
Floor plan for the cabin is as follows:
• One bedroom is on the main floor next to the bathroom with a double and a single bed
• Two bedrooms upstairs - One room has two twin beds and the second is across the hall with twin and double beds
The cabin can easily accommodate 8 total and has been known to have slept 14 with kids and air mattresses.
Here you can watch the otters and beavers playing, the osprey and eagles find it a perfect spot to fish and can be seen perched high in their favorite tree waiting for the right moment. September and October are excellent months to watch our black bears from across the lake, dong their rounds for berries and fish. June is perfect for fishing. Ice fishing is also good from December to February when the ice is thick.
Reconstructed from, the original Hudson Bay Outpost in the 1840's, this cabin is an experience all by itself. Perfect for a couple, families or a get together. You'll wish you found us sooner. Don't forget your camera and slippers.
